Where to choose a seat on our Flight?>

I forgot to ask in my l;ast post we are flying with BA from Manchester when I check in online which seats should we choose? Next to the exits so we get off quick?

It is very helpful when picking seats.

You can pick something closer to the exits, however, I find that the front of the plane is usually boarded last. Then it can be harder to find room in the overhead bins for carry on since most of the plane has boarded before you.

Sitting in the front portion of the plane always seems more comfortable to me. Depending on the layout of the plane the bulkhead row seats can be good but: 1)the armrests often do not move, so if the row is empty you cannot enjoy it by putting the armrests up to lay down and sleep. 2)bulkhead isle seats can be a pain as fellow passengers line up for the lavatory and so lineup beside and rest their elbows on these seats. 3)Often these seats are assigned to passengers traveling with babies so you may have to sit beside a crying infant. Also, the row behind bulkhead is not good because the passengers in the bulkhead row in front have extra legroom so they tend to think of it as business-economy and fully recline the seat for the entire flight leaving the persons behind squished. I always go for a few rows back from bulkhead.

If you are stowing luggage then stow it all your belongings except flight essentials then overhead bin space will not be an issue and you can sit in the front section of the plane.
