Good/warm weather in Sept and Oct??

Can you please advise what the weather will be like in mid September compared to mid October? Is there much difference??

Good/warm weather in Sept and Oct??

Mid September is still late summer. October is in the fall. October is generally cooler than September, but one can never make any specific prediction about how hot or cold, or wet or dry, any single date will be compared to any other date. It is entirely possible that a date in October will be warmer than the same day of the previous month, although usually that is not the case.

Good/warm weather in Sept and Oct??

September and October are two of the nicest months here weather wise. As GWB said you never really know what the temperature will be. If I had to pick though I%26#39;d pick September, While there could still be very hot weather it is generally a really nice time of year in NYC.

The average high temperature in mid-September in NYC is 23 C versus 17 C in mid-October. The benefit in October is that the leaves are starting to turn to their fall colors.

got there about 20th oct and we caught the last 2/3 days of a heatwave. it was lovely and canny hot. much hotter than uk. friends there before us had had great weather.

then it turned colder and rained a bit (as it usually does for us!). i think cos of the good weather not many of the trees had changed colour so we missed that.

next time i wanna go in the summer when it%26#39;s hot,hot ,hot...(difficult tho cos we live in cyprus in the summer)

September can be hot. I prefer October, although last October was unseasonably warm.

By the tail end of October, nighttime temperatures can dip as low as 45 Fahrenheit (7 Celsius) but it%26#39;s rare. The days are comfortably cool, crisp, often clear, and ideal for walking.

Usually by the third week of October the leaves are changing color, so the parks are particularly beautiful.

I%26#39;ve only ever been in September and December. We found September hot and humid. But at the same time we had the biggest rain storm one day, it was torrential! The weather didn%26#39;t bother us as we would have been out and about anyway.

You can%26#39;t pick your weather so enjoy your trip rain, hail or shine :-)
