I recently went to Las Vegas where from tripadvisor forums I was directed to fat wallet website which gave promotional codes for Las Vegas hotel. Is there something similar for New York Hotels? I have tried the Fat Wallet website with no joy.

Sometimes you can find something form the NYC visitors bureau (www.nycvisit.com0%26lt; but mostly for slow periods like the winter. Spring and Fall are very popular here and there are fewer discounts available.
