on the lookout for a sheepskin /lambskin coat. Thought I may have more choice (and cheaper) on your side of the pond. Any ideas for specialist shops in NYC? (or at Woodbury) I need out size which does hamper my choice a bit. Thanks for any ideas.

probably jacket would be a better description - i have a fleece jacket that would look lovely in sheepskin and not like an Arthur Daly look !

evening - yes I do mean a shearling I read on the internet about these and should have put this instead of a coat. With reference to ';no income tax,noVAT'; it is part of the theme tune to ';Only fools and horses'; a popular british sit com about a cockney ducker and diver who happens to wear a large sheepskin coat ......

Daffy%26#39;s has excellent buys on sheepskin and shearling jackets and coats, particularly right now....they were originally half of retail and now they are half of that......don%26#39;t know how much longer they will be hanging on their racks though....would guess probably they will be gone by mid April or before......Daffy%26#39;s has a number of locations in Manhattan but their best selection of shearlings is at the 34th Street and Bway store across from Macy%26#39;s; the other good one is on 57th Street just West of Lex....hope you arrive in time; if not, they will be back or at least new ones will, starting probably in August or September at the latest.
