We will be in New York City in early april and would love to catch a Broadway musical. I was thinking of seeing %26#39;Curtains%26#39;. Has anyone seen this? or what other musical would you recommend?

I haven%26#39;t seen Curtains yet but Jersey Boys was amazing! They play some of the music on their website, check it out. It%26#39;s a fantastic show but American-nostalgic for sure!

At this late stage, I doubt you%26#39;ll find regular price tickets for the aforementioned Jersey Boys.

Curtains would not be considered one of the top musicals playing but if you like David Hyde Pierce, you would probably enjoy it. There should be a discount for it at broadwaybox.com (in the left column) Jersey Boys is great but hard to get a ticket. Wicked is another that%26#39;s always sold out.

There are soooo many good musicals. Patti Lupone is doing Gypsy. South Pacific just started at Lincoln Center. Avenue Q is very funny (and different) with puppets.

Actually there are still some reg price tickets available for Jersey Boys in April, if you decide to go to that one. Not sure of your dates but you can go to telecharge.com and see what comes up.

I saw %26#39;Curtains%26#39; and thought it was great. It%26#39;s a %26#39;typical%26#39; musical: jokes, singing, dancing. Very well done and entertaining.

Thankyou to everyone for your comments and suggestions!! unfortunately its my family vs me in the debate to see curtains - they don%26#39;t want to! :( they want to see jersey boys, which is fine and all, but i LOVE David Hyde Pierce!! (maybe i can see him later in the year when i go back!)

I%26#39;ll check those websites you guys mentioned for some tickets, and see the reviews for the other shows you recommended!
