If you ride the bus You would be leaving from Port Authority Bus Terminal, not Penn Station. Gray Line bus is $40 per person round trip, though they are offering a buy one get one free deal at the moment. There is no direct train service, so you might as well take the bus.

Taxi or car service will cost a fortune.

You get the bus at port Authority - ticket window is floor 2 of the north building. Get to PA a half hour early to allow a ';potty break'; and time to get your tickets. The bus leaves from floor 3 - USUALLY gate 310 or very close to that. Just look for the longest line!

Since you already have the voucher for the coupon book, your fare should run about $31...%26gt;that $40 price includes the coupon book.

Take the bus that leaves somewhere between 8:15-8:45am. The ride can take about an hour, sometimes a little bit less. most shops open at 10am, but several places in the food court are open. Sit down, relax, plan your shopping. (huge restrooms in food court area and plenty of restrooms through the area. I usually go out the back door of the food court and start from there.

IMHO, the best place for lunch is APPLEBEE%26#39;s. But you need to get in there no later than 11:45am otherwise it gets way too crowded.

Bring a backpack or something for your ';stuff';. Last time I had to go into Eddie Bauer and get a backpack.

if you buy anything bulky or heavy, see if the shop will hold it for you and then you can collect when you are done for the day.

Pay close attention to the bus schedule going back to the city. (it%26#39;s posted on a display next to the bus stop.

I hope I have given you some useful information.

if youre planning a visit to Woodbury common before 31st march, you can get a ';buy one get one free ticket'; if you buy before 15th March. I got two bus tickets with www.viator.com for myself and my daughter for 40 dollars. Happy Shopping!
