Has anyone stayed in the Kimberly Tower (hotel) room 8h.

Are there any buses that go from JFK into NY on a regular basis? or is the easiest way to get a cab

Thanks

I can%26#39;t answer your question about the hotel, but you should read this thread from the FAQ regarding transportation from JFK:

Minnie I think it%26#39;s unlikely you%26#39;ll find anyone here who%26#39;s stayed in that suite. It sounds new. I would email or phone the hotel with any questions you might have. One thing that%26#39;s unclear to me about it (I%26#39;ve read what%26#39;s on the website) is whether there%26#39;s an entrance to the upstairs bedroom from the hallway on the 9th floor or whether it must be accessed through one of the bedrooms on the 8th floor. They mention on the other suite the latter but don%26#39;t say anything about this one. They say nothing about a living room, so this sounds to me like 3 bedrooms, no sitting area.

Yes there are buses between JFK and Manhattan, but since you%26#39;re 4 people, the price ($15/person) winds up costing the same/more than a taxi. The flat fare of the taxi is $45 for up to 4 people plus toll ($4) and tip. Perhaps the bus has family discounts, but it%26#39;s not worth the hassle when the taxi is about the same price for your family.

Thanks nywiz, yes it is just three bedrooms but thats what I wanted. Seems a taxi is the best option. looking forward to going!!
