Courtney, your question is much too broad for anyone to answer. You%26#39;re asking for someone to basically map out your trip. Here%26#39;s a link to the FAQ which will get you started. Do some reading and then come back with any specific questions you have.

Well, we are looking for something fun to do with st patricks day on saturday night and a good shopping center for on sunday. Neither of us are picky eaters and we like to try new things,so we were looking for some cool restuarants as well.

On the link that NYWhiz posted, be sure to read these threads in particular:

Most of the fun associated with St Patrick;%26#39;s day is associated with drinking in pubs.

By %26#39;cool%26#39; restaurants do you mean something outside - just kidding - you still have not indicated budget or What type of foods you like.

So, I%26#39;ll take a stab and recco LeZie on 7th Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets. it is a cozy trattoria, not too pricey with some very good food.

I%26#39;m not sure it is what you would call cool, but it serves some interesting %26amp; tasty food.

The island of Manhattan IS a shopping center. We don%26#39;t have many ';shopping centers'; like malls as you think of them. You%26#39;d have to leave Manhattan if you want a mall. But you can get malls in Atlanta. What do you want to shop for? For you or Mom? Do you have H %26amp; M in Atlanta? It%26#39;s budget clothes but trendy. There are several locations in Manhattan, one being at Rockefeller Center another near Macy%26#39;s and another near Bloomingdales.

Where are you staying (midtown is a BIG area).

HI

Just returned first time.

On a budget,if you wanted to see a show/play of any kind,go to the Marriott hotel(in times Square),right the back(to the right)there you can buy discounted tickets at a booth for shows/plays.

We went to see a play for 拢30 each 拢60 was excellent.

The big time shows wont be available at the discounted ticket booths, like The Lion kings or Legally Blonde, but you can still see a great show discounted.

We went to see Passing Strange there were 10 people in total,5 the band and no props or fancy costumes.it was about a young man trying to find his feet as a musician,it was excellent.

Food around NYC seemed to be reasonalbe, alcholic drinks little pricey but it is a huge city after all.
