What does your 5 and 1/2 hour tour include? You should definitely stop by Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Grand Central, Chinatown, Little Italy, soho. Another option at night is to book tickets to see the NY Philharmonics at Lincoln Center if you enjoy classical music or visit the jazz clubs downtown.

On Saturday, is your tour only of Ellis Island? If the tour is actually of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island you probably should plan on 4 hours. We left our hotel at 8am and did not get off the ferry in Battery Park until after 1pm. Long line to board the ferry, long line to get in the Statue, and very good exhibits on both islands. We went last year in April and had very nice weather. Have fun.

The NY 5 1/2 hr tour includes stops at:

Times Square, World Trade Center Site, NY Stock Exch,

Wall Str, St. Paul%26#39;s Chapel, Trinity Church, World Financial Cntr, Federal hall, Madison Squ Park, Flatiron Bldg, So. Str SeaPort, US Customs Bldg, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, NBC Today Show set, St Patrick%26#39;s Cathedral, Central Park, Strawberry Fields, Dakota Building, and Canyon of Heroes. We drive by several other sites.

Our tour on Sat am is only Ellis Island

We have one in our group of 4 that has only specified shopping as important to her. Trying to fit that in but,,my first love is the sights!

Hoping to see more of Central Park and must get to Grand Central Station at one point.

I Mistakenly put our hotel on 8th Str, it%26#39;s on 3rd

Thanks so much for the imput!

Just so you and others can find these places-

La Guardia Airport (named after one of the city%26#39;s most famous mayors)

Manolo Blahnik

Rockefeller Center

Gramercy Tavern

La Bonne Soupe

Bleecker Street

Lower East Side Tenement Museum (or just %26#39;Tenement Museum%26#39;)

Grand Central Terminal (although it%26#39;s ok if you call it a %26#39;station%26#39;).

Since telephone operators are no longer local, trying to get help in finding a place when you don%26#39;t have the right spelling or the full name is almost impossible.

Thanks for the tip. Spelling is not one of my strong points.

I%26#39;m so excited about our trip.

It%26#39;s ok. I only say this because when I was trying to reach a restaurant the other day, I didn%26#39;t have the right spelling and had a merry time getting the number from the operator.
