My husband and I will be in NYC April 18 - 23rd. With our luck the Yankees are not playing AND there aren%26#39;t any stadium tours until the day we fly out. Are we pushing it to much if we go to the Yankee Stadium Tour at 12pm and then have a flight leaving at 5:30 from LGA? We would leave our luggage at The Roosevelt Hotel and then after the 1 hour tour we would go pick it up then head to LGA.
What are your thoughts?? Have anyone taken the tour? Does it usually go longer than an hour? How long do it take to get from Yankee Stadium to our hotel and then to the airport?

Yankee Stadium Tour @12pm Flight @ LGA @ 5:30 pm = crazy????Tight but certainly possible assuming all goes well. Hopstop.com estimates the trip from the Roosevelt to Yankee stadium at 31 mins. I%26#39;d say prob. 45 mins. with waiting time. If you leave Yankee stadium at 1:30 and are back at the Roosevelt at 2-2:15, that leaves you plenty 2 hrs. for travel, more than enough assuming no mishaps.

How far in advance is your airline telling you to check in?
It says atleast an hour prior to take off.
Yankee Stadium to hotel - less than one hour (closer to 45 minutes.
Taxi from hotel to LGA - 45 minutes (could be a little less.
I, a worrier, am not concerned considering you have 4 1/2 hours to get to the airport
