Toy Shops

hi,

due to arrive in new york late april and was wondering whether there are any good toy shops i should visit. expecting a baby in august and would like to pick up a special teddy bear and anything else that might be cool!

FAO Schwartz is in the General Motors Building, on 5th ave between 58th and 59th sts. The store is on the 58th st side, with and entrance on 58th as well.

They have an amazing stuffed toy section in the front.

Im in the same boat as u i too am due the end of august and guna bring loads back for the baby - will see u waddling round like me ha ha

liverpool - i%26#39;m actually the father but i%26#39;ll be waddling along with the shopping (hopefully)

For clothes:

baby gap, the childrens place etc...

The dept stores like macy%26#39;s and others have many baby stuff.

ha ha - yeah my hubby will be holding the bags too

guna go mental for the baby clothes and that - might have to buy another suitcase to bring back

jo, i%26#39;m going in the last week of april with two of my brothers and bro-in-law. my wife decided to take it easy and stay in the uk. fly out on 25th. when do you go?

When i was there last year, i bought some clothes to my children there.
