We are visiting NYC next week and want to do a campus visit at Fordham%26#39;s main campus. What is the best way to get to the campus from midtown?

We are driving to NYC from Baltimore...would it be best to drive right to the campus and come back to our hotel in midtown?

from midtown the quickest route would be to take the Metro North out of Grand Central Terminal and you%26#39;ll be there in less than 20 minutes (most trains run 125th Street first stop and then Fordham next stop). Check the Metro North %26#39;Harlem line%26#39; schedule.

This is really your choice and depends somewhat on where your hotel is located, how many of you are going and probably most important, what parking is like on campus, something I don%26#39;t know. I%26#39;d phone them and ask about parking. If it%26#39;s plentiful (or they say no problem) and you%26#39;re a confident driver, I don%26#39;t see any reason not to drive if you%26#39;d like to. But if you%26#39;d rather not, just take the train. The campus is across from the NY Botanic Garden which currently has an orchid show.

The Bronx zoo is also right there. If you%26#39;d like to go to any of these, not sure if you could leave the car on campus or whether you%26#39;d have to move it.
