Places to eat near Holiday Inn Midtown

My family with 2 teenagers are thinking of staying at this hotel during the 1st week of May.

Could you please recommend any nearby places to eat?

Thanks in advance!

Since you did not give a budget, say what kind of food or what type of place you wanted, or even define what you mean by ';nearby';, it is hard to recommend anything to you.

Have you looked at Menupages.com?

I didn%26#39;t want to be too specific because we are open to any kind of food and I did want several choices.

Since it will be our first time, we are open to anything that might be suggested that would appeal to teenagers too.

Nearby would mean walking distance from the hotel.

The Holiday Inn is about a block further west than the Salisbury, so all the places listed in this thread near the Salisbury are also near the HI Midtown

but I%26#39;m hoping you see my PM and will book the Belvedere instead. ;)

Thanks for the thread.

Can%26#39;t seem to book the Belvedere through Quikbook - keep getting an error message when I click on Book It.

Is it safe through HotelReservations.com?

Well, if you want a variety of food, you can try Jean Georges, at Columbus Circle. Dinner will run you around $200 per person. Or you could go up Tnth Avenue to the Olympic Flame Diner at 60th Street, where dinner per person will run you about 1/10th of that. I have eaten at both, and can recommend either one, depending on what you are looking for.

It%26#39;s cheaper by $40 on hotels.com You can book it there, but I%26#39;d first phone the hotel directly to see if they would take the booking at the quikbook/hotels.com rate. If they say no, then I%26#39;d try phoning quikbook and if that doesn%26#39;t work, book on hotels.com

Thanks GWB and nywhiz!
