The nice lady at the checkout gave me the heads up about this. If you goto the Visitor%26#39;s centre, you get an 11% discount card which is nothing to be sneezed at !

Yep it%26#39;s on the ground floor but you go up some stairs to this little balcony area
Very nice staff there, all you do is show them some ID (i showed a COPY of my passport) and they give you the discount card
both macy%26#39;s and bloomingdales do this, it%26#39;s a nice perk. Some items are excluded (you can ask before purchasing)but most things aren%26#39;t.
PS it%26#39;s the Macy*s or Bloomingdale%26#39;s visitor centers, NOT the NYC visitor%26#39;s center for these cards.
What a dope I am, I dont know how many times I had read about the discount card and yet on my last day I bought 4 pair of shoes and a bag - totally forgot about the card. Think I was so excited about how cheap the shoes were I forgot I could save even more.
