Semi Private Bathroom?? - Westside YMCA

Hey guys,

Just searched the forum, read many reviews and even googled my question. Couldn%26#39;t find an answer but hoping someone here can help.

I%26#39;m staying in the Westside YMCA for 4 nights and I booked a private room with a semi-private bathroom. This was the most expensive room they had available.

My question is what does semi-private bathroom REALLY mean?

The cheaper rooms available said shared bathroom and I read that you share with up to 8 other rooms but I have not read what a semi-private bathroom is.

I don%26#39;t know for sure, but my guess is you have your own toilet and sink (or toilet and shower) and share either the shower or the toilet down the hall. Why not ask them?

I think it means that you will share a bath and shower with several people. I have done this on visits to the UK in my youth and it worked out OK for me. If the price works for you, give it a go.

If you look at photo on their website, you can see a single room with a bathroom inside it. You see a sink. I%26#39;m not sure if there%26#39;s a toilet or a shower in it.

I%26#39;ve booked already and don%26#39;t mind sharing a bathroom especially for this price and great location. I%26#39;m just curious.

If you%26#39;d really like to know, you need to phone. Places like the YMCA often don%26#39;t return e-mails.
