We have a room booked at the Edison in a few weeks, and I would like to hear from anyone who has stayed there as far as the cleanliness, location, staff, etc. We have a deluxe room with 1 queen bed and a pull-out sofa and will have three of us in the room. Any info would be great. Thanks.
Has anyone stayed at the Edison hotel recently?
Have you checked out the hotel reviews? There are some recent ones posted.

My brother stayed in a Deluxe room with one queen bed and one sofa bed a year or so ago. He had to stand on the sofa bed to get into the bathroom! Very small room with not nearly enough space but clean and the staff was friendly, the location perfect, the foyer very art deco. They liked it but wouldn%26#39;t go back.

I%26#39;ve stayed at the Edison many times (next visit is on June 18!) and have always found the rooms clean, and the towels and bed linen are changed daily. I%26#39;ve only stayed in standard rooms which are a bit on the small side, but its never been a problem. The staff are generally very friendly!
Thanks for the replies. I did check out the reviews and they are mostly very good. I was concerned more with the cleanliness and size of the room than anything else, since we will have three in the room. But if there%26#39;s room enough for a pull-out sofa, we%26#39;ll make do with three of us. What do you do to try to get an upgrade? Should we just ask when we check in? Also, would you recommend we try to get on a higher floor?
the rooms are a bit small but i think they generally are in New York compared to anywhere else Iv stayed in the US but it hasnt been a problem. The hotel is very clean, new sheets, towels etc. Location is great right on Times Square and near the subway. Staff in the hotel are great very friendly and helpful. There is also a diner attached which is great for breakfast! Im going back there in August
