Need help with subway

Hi everyone.

I am traveling to New York on Sunday June 22nd for a cruise on the 23rd. I am getting tickets to Grease too. I need some help with the subway lines. I went to the website, but i cant figure it out. I am coming into the city on Greyhound so I will be at Port Authority. I know the trains leave from there. I am going to the Intercontinental Barclay on Easy 48th. Then I am going to the theater on West 47th. It says its about a mile.

So I need to know what line to take from Port Authority to my hotel and then to the theater.

Thanks so so much for any help.

You might want to check this map:

You can zoom in and plot your location and where you want to go and the map will plot it out for you.

However, I assume that you will be carrying luggage for your cruise. If that%26#39;s the case, it would be easier just to take a cab.

Intercontinental is on park ave so take the shuttle to grand central subway directly below ground port authority to grand central on 42 nd street. From grand central it is 6 short blocks to 48th. It%26#39;s $ 2 for subway, but there is some walking invloved underground to get to the actual subway, it is very safe though.

I go this way every day to work it take about 20 minutes, it should take you less than an hour with luggage and steps.

From hotel to theatre is an easy walk across town fromeast side to west side through midtown broadway.

again takes about 20 minutes.

Alt is take taxi, make sure you get picked up going westbound.

Ditto tax on cruise drop off from east side, most cruises leave from west side.
