July 3rd - July 7th, 2008 (4 nights)
6 people. 2 people can share each bed.
We prefer in the following areas: Times Square, Midtown, LES, Greenwhich, Chelsea, Soho, Tribeca, lastly UES, UWS.
Any guidance would be great!
And prefer the rate to be fully refundable if necessary. (That%26#39;s a toughy.)
Need 2 Queens %26amp; a SofaBed for around $200/night in ManhattanObviously you are not familiar with prices for hotels in NYC - check out the Hotel%26amp;Accommodations listings to the left of this posting.
As for location, you%26#39;ve pretty got Manhattan covered.
For this type of room configuration try the Hotel Stanford adjacent to 5th Avenue on 32nd Street.
Not sure what their rates will be, I%26#39;m sure it will be more than $200.00 - get on their website for quotes and descriptions.

Need 2 Queens %26amp; a SofaBed for around $200/night in ManhattanYeah I think I have to up it to $300/night. I found the Courtyard Midtown 2 queens %26amp; Sofabed for $1190 (Fully-refundable) for those nights.
Rotsa-ruck, as we say. First, there are very few places with 2 queens and a sofabed. Second they won%26#39;t be $200. Third, when you do find 2 queens and a sofabed, many hotels are not zoned for 6 people to a room and won%26#39;t allow that many. (fire and sanitation codes I think). If you%26#39;re 6 adults it%26#39;s even more difficult. If you%26#39;re 2 adults and 4 kids, it may be a bit easier.
The Courtyard Midtown East has rooms with 2 queens and sofabed but won%26#39;t accept either 5 or 6 in that room on the website . Rates are $250-300 on those dates.
Murray Hill East Suites has a 1 bedroom suite with 2 double beds and a sofabed for $206/night plus tax (on Expedia) but that%26#39;s for 4 people. (that hotel has no website of it%26#39;s own)
I think the only way to stick to this budget is to stay outside Manhattan. There are hotels in New Jersey within a train or bus ride that will fit the bill. For example, the Residence Inn in Secaucus near the Meadowlands has a room for $200. It%26#39;s a bus ride away (30-40 mins.) and a pain if you%26#39;re flying in and out of JFK, but it%26#39;s an option. Closer to Manhattan, the Sheraton on the Hudson in Weehawken has a room with 2 doubles and a double sofabed, but not sure they%26#39;ll accept more than 4 (that was the max. adults they%26#39;d take on the website). It%26#39;s ~ $250 plus tax.
If you want to up your budget, both the Affinia 50 and the Affinia Dumont (both very nice) have suites on your dates to sleep 6. The Dumont has 2 queends and a sofabed. (I think the Aff. 50 is only doubles)
